Varietal: Chardonnay
Region: Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
Total Cases Produced: 210 cases
Retail Price: $24
Winemaker's Notes
As always, made from 100% estate fruit, this is our classic “blend” of 60% barrel-fermented Chardonnay and 40% stainless steel-fermented Chardonnay. The result is a beautifully crafted, well-balanced wine with lovely notes of apple, pear and star fruit. Smooth mouthfeel with just enough oak to provide complexity and depth. We’ve converted many a non-chardonnay drinker with this wine.

Varietal: Pinot Noir
Region: Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
Total Cases Produced: 280 cases
Retail Price: $40
Winemaker's Notes
The most famous of the Russian River varietals, and more than any other wine, our Pinot Noir is truly crafted in the vineyard. Always bottled unfined and unfiltered, our Pinot exemplifies the best and truest characteristics of the varietal – elegance and finesse. The wild, untamed essence of this grape is captured with notes of exuberant summer berries, black cherries, purple flowers, dusty herbs and a swirl of exotic smoky tea.

Winemaker's Notes
Elegant and lush, velvety and smooth, this is a gorgeous wine with lots of class. Reminiscent of its Burgundian cousins, this Pinot Noir can go toe to toe with the top wines from across the pond. . . . .at a fraction of the cost. Only a few cases remain of this amazing vintage. Don’t miss out!! Finalist in the annual 2008 Charlie Palmer Pinot Cup against very tough (and more famous) competitors.

Varietal: Syrah
Region: Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
Total Cases Produced: 220 cases
Retail Price: $28
Winemaker's Notes
Regally rich and dark in color, this varietal grows especially well at our estate vineyard, which is all the more remarkable because the vines arrived in a most serendipitous fashion – literally as mistakes mixed among the Chardonnay vines. Our only Rhône varietal, this Syrah is a big, bold wine that is meant to be paired with food. A darker, more complex wine with layers of black plum, leather, cedar, espresso and licorice.

Varietal: Zinfandel/Syrah blend
Region: Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
Total Cases Produced: 225 cases
Retail Price: $18
Winemaker's Notes
This blend of Zinfandel and Syrah is the perfect complement to your next backyard barbecue. Full of sass and spice, this is the perfect wine to add a bit of life to the party. Try with a robust Puttanesca pasta, a mess of baby back ribs or anything fresh off the grill. She’s friendly but just a little bit naughty – just looking to have a good time.

Varietal: Zinfandel
Region: Sonoma County
Total Cases Produced: 250 cases
Retail Price: $28
Winemaker's Notes
Reminiscent of “old world” wines, the Bastoni Vineyard always brings us big, burly, smoky flavors with a zesty peppery finish. From century-old heritage vines, this wine is everything a real Zinfandel should be with lots of muscle and a chiseled physique (that means great body). A remarkable field blend of mostly Zin with a little Alicante Bouschet and Carignane.
Varietal: Zinfandel
Region: Alexander Valley, Sonoma County
Total Cases Produced: 225 cases
Retail Price: $28
Winemaker's Notes
Our newest old vine Zinfandel hails from a small, nearly 90-year-old vineyard. These gnarly old vines are dry farmed and sun kissed in the warmer Alexander Valley and, happily, produce a wonderfully rich wine of some longevity. Astonishingly opulent, considering how stressed the vines must be, this wine is layered with luscious black plum, blueberry, raspberry and sandalwood. Luxuriously ripe fruit is the key to producing a wine of this magnitude.

Retail Price: $34
Winemaker's Notes
Year after year, four tiny acres of century old vines produce some of the most remarkably intense and concentrated fruit imaginable. The vineyard, while not part of our estate, has been farmed and nurtured back to health by Sapphire Hill over the years. Think blackberry or boysenberry pie in a bottle – with a bit of a kick, to be sure. Affectionately know as our fruit bomb!

Liquid candy for grown-ups! Succulent, rich, sinfully delicious decadence in a bottle. Perfectly balanced and just a wee bit sweet (not cloying), this wine, made from 100% old vine Zinfandel, is the perfect finish to any meal. (Not just for special occasions.) Treat yourself to this marvelous after-dinner elixir. Perfect on its own, but amazing with artisan cheeses. Or dark chocolate. Bliss!
